Sept 9: Prompt: Think of a time when you or someone you know used informal language in a situation where formal language may have been more appropriate. What happened? Looking back, what could have been said differently, and what did the situation teach you about choosing your words carefully?

One time, I used informal language while talking to a teacher when I should have been more respectful and formal. Looking back, I could have chosen my words more carefully, and it taught me that the way I speak should depend on the situation and who I am talking to.

We worked with our groupmates on our group intor paragraph and focused on putting together a strong argument.

Working on the group paragraph helped me see how different ideas can come together to make the writing stronger.
